As you reach your 30s you end up having a set of people you share your shit with. This group isn’t the same as the one you had in school. Even if it is, your conversations have evolved. You don’t speak of trivial things but of matters of constitution. Your mental health, your crushed hopes and scary realities. And if you’re lucky, you get to share your darkest parts with them, and they reciprocate. Are we all damaged to a certain extent? Yea. Do we all need therapy? Hell yea. Till you take that step look for these broken people and feel free to form your dysfunctional community – your support system, all the while working towards self-awareness and healing.
